Grandma

Long time no post! I've been busy the last month because of university, so I just did some small drawings and experiments, which I posted over at tumblr.

This one is actually for a competition of an art community, which I'm a member of. The topic was "Our heroes", which is pretty boring actually. But I thought I could draw my grandma, which taught me a lot of stuff about nature and animals and went on bike rides through the countryside with me outside of Berlin. I loved it and I still know the things she taught me.

This is lovely! It is such a touching moment. Did you use the same brush to make everything?

No no, I used 4 different brushes and a bit of texture on top.:)

OH dear, i just love your drawings...
Got you on my Google Reader for quite some time. I´m from southern Brazil, an illustration as well. :)

Do you make your own brushes?
Do you mind sharing them if so?

Cheers! :)
